 Will Chidsey DWSC Head Coach, Black Team Head CoachEmail
Will Chidsey is
beginning his sixth year with DWSC and his Third year as head
coach. He is a graduate of
Lemoyne
College
with a B.S. in Business Administration. During his
college swimming career, Will was a 5 time All American, a 7 time
All American Honorable Mention, 2 time Swimmer of the meet for the
UNYSCSA, Swimmer of the year for the Northeast 10’s for 2004
and 2005, and Captain of his team in 2006. He also holds 7 school
records. Will swam for
Liverpool
High
School
in central NY where he was swimmer of the Section 3
meet his Senior year and NY State Champ in the 100
backstroke.
 Adam ZaczkowskiRed Team Head CoachEmail
Adam has been swimming
since he was 2. He made his first district cut at age 5 and was
ranked in the National Top-16 in the 200 IM, 200 Free, and 100 IM
at 12 years of age. He represented Connecticut in the Eastern Zone
Championships and won the 400m Freestyle. He also swam for
Westport/Weston YMCA team where he was a 3-time YMCA National
Qualifier. Adam is a graduate of Le Moyne College, where he
received a Political Science degree with minors in Philosophy and
History. At Le Moyne, he set 9 school records and was the
conference champion in the 200 Butterfly (2003) and the 400 IM
(2004). Adam has been coaching for 9 years and brings a great
source of experience and knowledge to the team. He is a founding
member of CNY Aquatics, LLC.
 George McNamaraAssistant CoachEmail
George McNamara began
his swim career in New Jersey at age 8; eventually earning the
senior state 200 meter backstroke title. As the captain of his high
school team he was undefeated in the backstroke and IM. George swam
for Colgate University. He was an age group coach in New Jersey and
the head coach for Hornell High School. He moved to DeWitt and
coached the DeWitt Swim Club in the 70’s. George, as an
active Masters Swimmer, has been ranked in the top 10 nationally in
all backstroke events and has held numerous masters records
in New York and won many Empire State Games medals. He competed in
his first triathlon at age 49, coming in second in his age group.
Since then he has taken at least a dozen first places. Coach George
is retired from 31 years as an elementary school teacher at JD. He
served as a volunteer fire fighter and paramedic for the DeWitt
Fire Dept. for 25 years and was also the assistant chief of crash
rescue for the Air National Guard. When not in the water working
out or on deck coaching, he can be found on the deck of his
sailboat. George is married, has four children, four of them were
DSC swimmers and one is a professional ballerinia.

Erin Brown is a
graduate of Le Moyne College. She has been involved in
swimming for 12 years and started swimming with her local club
team, the Pine Bush Piranhas. Once old enough, she joined the
Pine Bush High School Girls Varsity Swim team. She swam for
her club and high school teams for all four years of high school
and her senior year was elected captain of the team. Erin
then attended Le Moyne College where she studied Biology and
pursued her swimming career. She swam all four years for Le
Moyne College and her senior year was elected captain of the
women’s team. While at Le Moyne College she taught
one-on-one swim lessons to children. Being able to share her
talent and passion with children is something that she greatly
enjoys. Erin is now a Physicians
Assistant.
 Justin Ryan LynchAssistant CoachEmail
Justin Lynch, a 2008 graduate of St. Lawrence University,
swam
competitively at the collegiate level and competed in the
Liberty
League Championships. In addition, he was the assistant
coach for
both the Nottingham High School Girl’s varsity, and boys
modified
teams. Currently, Lynch is Teaching Assistant for the Syracuse
City
School District.
 Kay SimonsonAssistant CoachEmail
Kay is a mom of
three. Her youngest, Emma joined Dewitt 9/09. Kay grew
up in Staten Island and swam for Gotham in
Manhattan. Coached age group
summer league team. She swam for Cortland where she
was a 4 time All American in 200Fly, 400IM, 1650 and
800relay. Kay's 200 Fly school record of 1982 was broken in
2009. She was captain of Cortland State in her senior
year.
Currently Kay
competes in Masters swim meets, open water swims and the Green
Lakes Triathlon. First place finish captured an
All-American status in Canandaigua in 2009 for the national two
mile open water swim. Three college degrees and several
careers from teaching, wedding cake business, vacation business for
people with disabillities, professional clown, and now Dental
Hygienist
 Jack FletcherAssistant CoachEmail
Jack, a student at Le Moyne College, has been swimming
competitively since the age of 5. He swam for
the Solon Stars in Ohio before moving to the DeWitt Dolphins. Jack
has been a member of the DeWitt Dolphins since the fall of 2001. As
a two-time captain of his high school swim team, Jack led his team
to two consecutive league and sectional titles, while going
undefeated in both seasons. He currently competes for the Le Moyne
College swim team, swimming Backstroke and Freestyle events, and
also competing in Diving. He is currently studying accounting and
will graduate in 2012.
